New to caravanning or curious about our handover process? Excited to collect your new or used caravan? We've got you covered every step of the way.

The day you pick up your caravan is a big deal. We know it's a lot to take in, but don't worry. We've designed a simple, guided process to make sure you're confident with your new purchase. In this guide, we'll walk you through what to expect.

Can't Make It in Person? No Problem!

Can't join us on-site? No worries. We offer a remote handover service for your convenience. Please speak to our Sales Team for more information. 

 

Before You Arrive: Important Prep Steps

  1. Documents Please: For first-time buyers, bring your driver's license and your towing vehicle's current V5 document. We'll need these for your caravan's number plate.

  2. ID and Address Proof: If you're financing, please make sure to remember your driving license and address proof. If you've got financing elsewhere, please have this payment method arranged. 

  3. Timings: Please be on time for your caravan handover. Our Sales Team will have set it up with you beforehand. If anything comes up, please let us know as soon as possible. 

 

On Collection Day: Let's Dive In!

1. Arrival and Introduction:

  • Our Sales Team will greet you and introduce you to a Handover Specialist.
  • Your caravan will have been fully serviced and cleaned inside & out.
  • Heating, lights, water, and optional extras are all set up.
  • Visual checks for any damage or issues will have been carried out.

2. Exterior Overview:

  • We'll show you how the caravans exterior fittings work and how to set them up.
  • Together, we'll inspect the entire exterior for your satisfaction.

3. Inside Your Caravan:

  • Learn how gas and electrical appliances work (hob, fridge, oven, etc.).
  • Get to know fixtures and fittings (skylights, beds, blinds, etc.).
  • Understand control panels (heating, lighting, commands, etc.).

4. Final Steps and Confidence Boost:

  • We'll ensure you're comfortable and answer all your questions.
  • Motor mover demonstration (if applicable) and safe hitching up.
  • Wrapping up paperwork, including CRiS registration.
