When to Change Your Caravan or Motorhome Tyres
According to recommendations from organizations like the BTMA (British Tyre Manufacturers' Association), caravan tyres should be replaced every 5 years and not used beyond 7 years. Additionally, tyres with high inflation pressure (above 50psi) should be replaced at 3 years, not used beyond 5 years, as suggested by The Caravan Club. These recommendations consider factors such as sunlight exposure, atmospheric effects, fatigue from everyday use, and strain during long periods of storage.
How to Determine the Age of Your Caravan or Motorhome Tyre
To date your tyres, locate the age indicator on the tyre sidewall, comprising 4 numbers. The first 2 indicate the week of manufacture, and the last 2 indicate the year.
Tyre Pressures
Consult your owner's manual to find the correct pressures. Due to the water content in air, tyre pressure can alter with temperature. Always check and adjust tyre pressures at the start of a journey.

Before any journey, check tyre pressure, tread depth (U.K legal limit is 1.6mm across 3/4 of the tread), and overall condition (cracks, bulges, flat spots, etc.).
